Laura Fanny Clark

June 6, 1957 - May 20, 2022

EASTLAND – Laura Fanny Clark, 64, of Eastland, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at home following a lengthy battle against cancer. She was born on June 6, 1957, in Brady, Texas, to parents J.W. Clark and Willa Jean Clark. She was one of nine siblings. She attended school in Brady and worked for 30 years at Northview Development Center. She also became a foster mother for 10 years to her nephew Dustin. She was a faithful member of Merriman Baptist Church, designing floral arrangements for church events, and helping out wherever she was needed. She loved garage sales, going to Goodwill, and taking donuts to the workers at the Ranger Quarter Store on every visit. Laura had a true servant’s heart and was loved by so many in the community. She was well known for making baskets of cheerful items which she gave to people in the hospital and who were terminally ill. She also made wooden crosses to put at the cemetery on the baby graves who had no headstones. She would hunt down any item that her family needed, no matter what. Her sweet smile and loving heart touched the lives of many. Laura is survived by three children, Paul Morris of Eastland, Levi Morris (Stephanie Flores) of Azle, and Tami Meuchel of North Dakota. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Clark of Eastland, Sharon Stratton of Brady, and Joan Clark of Ranger, and a brother, Barry Clark of Comanche. She was loved by her many grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Bonnie Williams and Rose Clark; her brother, Ben Clark; and two granddaughters, Desiree Morris and Nicki Morris Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Edwards Funeral Home Eastland, followed by burial at Eastland City Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday, May 23rd from 6-8:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home Eastland. “Well done, good, and faithful servant! I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master’s happiness!” Matthew 25:21 Online condolences can be left at www.edwards-funeral-homes.com
