Glenda Mae Harrison

June 18, 1950 - April 3, 2022

Glenda Mae Mayhall Harrison, 71, passed away Sunday April 3, 2022 in Stephenville, Tx. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 6th from 6-8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger. Graveside services will be held Thursday April 7th at 11 a.m. at Bullock Cemetery. Glenda was born in Boerne, Tx on June 18, 1950 to Ray & Eva (Adkins) Mayhall. They moved to Ranger in 1965. She finished school, got married and had kids before moving to Breckenridge in the early 80s. She returned to Ranger several years later and spent the rest of her life there. Glenda spent the majority of her working life sitting at a sewing machine at a sewing factory or standing behind a styling chair in the beauty shop. She was very happy in both jobs. Glenda had quite a few activities she enjoyed over the years that ranged from dancing, shuffleboard, and turtle races to camping, swimming and spending time with her family. For about the last 15 years Glenda has spent most of her Friday & Saturday nights volunteering at the Majestic Theater in Eastland. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Stroud, her sister, Connie Tinder, and her husband of over 20 years, Alton Lassiter. She is survived by her sister, Mary Masters and husband Daren; her children, Paul Mayhall and wife Michaelyn, Don Chandler and wife Darla, and daughter, Suzie Harrison; niece, Tiffany Barnes and daughter Emma; grandchildren, Jordan, Marilyn, Katy Miller and husband Jordan, Kimie, Brooklynn, Dallas and Parker, Kera and Ethan Wells, Craig Stephenson and wife Caytie, Billy Joe Jernigan and wife Pebbles; 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, some by blood, but many just by love. Donations can be made in her honor to the Majestic Theater in Eastland, Tx. Online condolences for the family may be left at: www.edwards-funeral-homes.com.
