Elmore Jackson “Jackie” Arrington, III, 63 of Eastland, passed away Wednesday August 11, 2021 in Eastland. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21st at the First United Methodist Church in Eastland with Pastor Chris Downer officiating. Jackie was born March 7, 1958 in Midland to Elmore Jackson (Jack) Arrington, Jr and Eula Lee Davis Arrington. He graduated from Eastland High School in 1976 and attended Cisco College. He married Shelby Jones on October 30, 1993 in Eastland. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eastland and had a passion for playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Avery Arrington. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Arrington; 3 sons, Brad Arrington and wife Sherri, Chris Arrington and wife Cassie, and Andrew Arrington and wife Haley; a sister, Lana Arrington and wife Heather; 9 grandchildren, Ty Kinch, Cody Kinch, Jackson Arrington, Kase Arrington, Audrey McLusas, Aubrey Jeter, Faith Jones, Maleigh Jones, and Riley Jones; a nephew, Joe Jones; and a special daughter-in-law, Kristal Keeler. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Norma Elliott and her husband Wendel of Alpine; sister-in-law, Beverly Barkalow of Kingman AZ; brother-in-law, Robert Jones and his wife Kristi of Abilene and brother-in-law, Darren Jones and his wife Jaylynn of Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
