Dorothy Dean Reid, 92, of Ranger, passed from this life on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Ranger. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine St., Ranger, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Ranger, Texas. Dorothy was born on May 14, 1929, in Haskell County, Texas to Chesley M. and Leona Williams Forehand. She was married to her loving husband, A.C. “Clyde” Reid, who preceded her in death in 1994. She loved to play golf when her health allowed and she was a member of Mesquite and Rusk Street Church of Christ in Ranger. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Glen, Garland, and Gordon Forehand. She is survived by her daughter: Rhonda Butler of Ranger; grandsons: Jeff Butler of Evanston, Illinois and Justin Butler of Weatherford, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger, Texas.
